Back Already? Had to post this--what a morning! Ever watch those old movies where the little woman is taught to embroider or sew—while (of course) the man is off hunting, or ranching or doing man stuff? Silly stereotypes, right? Well, here I am in the 21 st century wishing someone had sat me down and taught me the fine art of sewing. Today, while fixing my g’daughter’s tote bag, I sewed myself to the bag, jabbed a needle so far up my finger, I felt like The Wolverine, and I am bleeding.   Sigh…I was not meant for this. But, the good news is, the tote bag is fixed!!

What Am I Doing Here?

Well, son of a gun, this isn't easy. My first thought was--ohhh, I could do a blog, my second and stronger thought, was who do I think I am that anyone would want to read my blog?  Yeah, well, that second one is the one I'm still hung up on. But here goes. They say there is strength in numbers. Okay, so I am a woman, wife, mother, grandmother, who experiences, like most, bouts of depression and anxiety. Thankfully, they are not debilitating, but they can be significant at times. But mostly, this Blog will be little bits and bobs of life and humor. I live in the beautiful state of Montana, originally from the So. Calif. beach towns. I've never really gotten over leaving the ocean. It's been years and I miss it still. At this point, I am unable to walk more than a few steps, so spend a lot of time in my office chair right here in front of my computer--and that makes me very happy. Computer (two actually), flat screen, Diet Dr. Pepper, and a box of Little Debbie snacks...
